The Second Annual Founder’s Day Weekend Event will be held on July 26, 27 and 28 of 2019. We’d like to invite all GMs that use Fantasy Grounds to run their games to join us in celebrating our anniversary by posting a game on our event calendar to be played during this time period. Each person that posts a game during our Founder’s Day Weekend will be entered into the contest, and be eligible (if they meet the requirements below) to win the grand prize, which is a gift certificate for $100.00 in the Fantasy Grounds store. Multiple games posted do not equal multiple entries. Either you have a game posted and you are entered, or you do not have a game posted and you are not entered. If you post a game, and then remove it, your name will be removed from the list of eligible participants. How do you get entered into the contest? Well, that’s easy. The following things are required.
Must be a member of the Fantasy Grounds College Discord.
Must be registered on the Fantasy Grounds College website with a name that matches their Fantasy Grounds College Discord name.
Must have a Fantasy Grounds account.
Must post at least one game that runs during the July 26-28, 2019 time period. You are only entered once, even if you post more than one game. Also, ALL games must use the Fantasy Grounds College Discord for their Voice communication during the games.
Contest runs from June 12, 2019 through 4pm PT (UTC -7) on July 28, 2019. (No games that are added after the 4:00 pm PT deadline will be included in the contest, so get your games posted early to have the best chance at having players for your game, and be included in the drawing.) Once you post your event, let me know on the Fantasy Grounds College Discord. My user name is Lady Shel. After I check that you have a game posted during the time period above, I will add you to my list of names that will be entered into the drawing. On July 28, 2019 at 4:00 pm PT (-7 UTC) I will make a final check for games that have players and the winner will be announced during the “All Things Fantasy Grounds” twitch stream, along with all the other great prizes that will be doled out during the show. NOTE: All games that will run after the 4:00 pm PT deadline will be counted for the drawing as long as they have at least one player signed up. You can attend the stream at: https://www.twitch.tv/rob2e. The show starts at 6:00 pm PT (-7 UTC). You do NOT have to be present to win the “Founder’s Day Weekend Event Contest.” All other prizes awarded on the show are only for those who are present After the winner has been contacted via their Fantasy Grounds College Discord name, and has acknowledged me, I will then also post their name on this post congratulating them publicly. Instructions on how to add events to the Fantasy Grounds College website can be found in my “Adding and Managing Events on FGC” article. Also, we have a free Decal that you can use for your Fantasy Grounds table during games you run during the FGC Founder’s Day Weekend. You can find the decal pinned to the #gm-chat channel on our discord. It’s free to use, but please do not post it elsewhere, as it is for members of our community here at FGC. If you are a streamer, and would like to use a special graphic on your overlays during FGC Founder’s Day Weekend, you are welcome to download the following file. The logo is FGC’s own, and it was edited by our Faculty member, Lon Del to add the Founder’s Day Weekend and year to the banners. Feel free to resize, if you need it to be a smaller or larger sie than the original.
